Residents of Paphos and visitors alike cannot fail to have noticed the massive redevelopment of the Kato Paphos sea front from the Alexander the Great hotel around the promenade/Harbor area to the Elysium Hotel.

Including the rebuilding of the protective sea wall requiring a temporary roadway in the sea allowing heavy machinery to place huge stone blocks to provide a new breakwater. The communal changing rooms and beach front around the Porto Paphos hotel is being renovated with extra changing rooms and a redesigned beach/ sunbathing area next to the sea nearing completion.

Further along the coast at Kissonerga, the long awaited marina development is almost ready to go ahead, and work has already started on a coastal footpath from Paphos the airport to St Georges.

The Chloraka section and the section from the harbor around the headland near the lighthouse are now complete with work scheduled to be completed by 2010.
